LONDON (AP) - Manchester City twice came from behind to draw 2-2 against Liverpool in the Premier League at Anfield on Sunday with Carlos Tevez scoring a late equalizer.

Martin Skrtel headed Liverpool into a 1-0 lead at halftime, but Yaya Toure leveled for City on 63.

Luis Suarez restored Liverpool's lead three minutes later from a free kick but Skrtel then underhit a back pass toward Reina that Carlos Tevez latched on to, rounding the goalkeeper and slotting into an empty net.

At the Britannia Stadium, Stoke and Arsenal played out a scoreless draw where United States international Geoff Cameron made his debut for Stoke.

MADRID - Lionel Messi scored two late goals Sunday as Barcelona came from behind to win 2-1 at Osasuna in the Spanish league.

The hosts looked took the lead after Joseba Llorente's acrobatic 17th-minute goal and it wasn't until the 76th that Messi leveled, guiding Alexis Sanchez's short pass beyond goalkeeper Andres Fernandez.

Osasuna went down to 10 men when Francisco Punal was red carded for arguing the goal was offside.

Messi then latched on to Jordi Alba's cross in the 80th for the winner.

BERLIN - Hannover drew 2-2 against Schalke thanks to a late Adrian Nikci three minutes into his Bundesliga debut.

Brazilian defender Felipe opened the scoring in the 43rd minute for Hannover, before last season's leading scorer, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, drew the visitors level with a great individual effort in the 52nd.

Lewis Holtby put Schalke ahead 12 minutes later, only for Nikci - who had just replaced the injured Felipe - to score with his first touch of the ball with 10 minutes remaining.

On Friday, defending champion Borussia Dortmund opened the season with a 2-1 win over Werder Bremen, while Bayern Munich won 3-0 at promoted Greuther Fuerth the next day.

----

MILAN - Newly promoted Sampdoria stunned AC Milan 1-0 in its opening Serie A match on Andrea Costa's headed goal in the 60th minute.

Kevin-Prince Boateng almost rescued a point for Milan in stoppage time but his effort crashed off the right post.

Milan midfielder Mathieu Flamini could also have scored in a frantic finale but his effort was cleared off the line by Sampdoria defender Daniele Gastaldello.

It was Milan's first game without star strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Antonio Cassano as well as key defender Thiago Silva, who were all sold during the offseason.

----

PARIS - Defending champion Montpellier is still winless in the French league this season after Andre-Pierre Gignac's second-half goal gave Marseille a 1-0 win.

Saint-Etienne picked up its first points of the season by beating Brest 4-0. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice, either side of goals from Romain Hamouma and Josuha Guilavogui.

----

AMSTERDAM - FC Twente moved top of the Dutch league after beating NEC Nijmegen 3-1 for its third straight win of the season.

The victory left Steve McClaren's Twente as the only team in the Dutch top flight with a perfect record after three rounds.

United States striker Jozy Altidore hit the post but could not add to his league-leading tally of four goals in his first two matches as SC Heerenveen held his AZ Alkmaar side to a scoreless draw.

In other matches Sunday, Jonathan Reis scored both goals as Vitesse Arnhem beat Willem II Tilburg 2-0, Feyenoord won 2-1 at Heracles Almelo and PSV beat FC Groningen 3-1.

On Saturday, defending champion Ajax recorded its second big win of the season, beating NAC Breda 5-0 in Amsterdam.

----

GLASGOW - Rangers failed to clinch its first away win in the fourth tier of Scottish football after drawing at Berwick 1-1.

Rangers took the lead just before half time through Andy Little but Fraser McLaren leveled for Berwick in the 62nd minute at Shielfield Park with a tightly angled shot inside the penalty area.

Rangers, which was plunged into liquidation and forced into Division Three, has five points from three games including two away draws.

On Saturday, Celtic won at Inverness 4-2 in the Scottish Premier League, with Tony Watt scoring twice for the defending champion.
